The examples cited by Follow the Money about alleged contact between Cora van Nieuwenhuizen and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy predate the lobbying ban, as instituted by the three ministers in mid-February 2022.
Cora van Nieuwenhuizen strictly adhered to the lobbying ban; she was always replaced. Her signature on letters always concerned the formal position of the Energy Netherlands Association signed by the president. This was also known to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy.
A false picture was painted that could have been avoided had both sides been heard.
