Important subsidy scheme for hydrogen published

Last Monday, August 19, the subsidy scheme for large-scale production of fully renewable hydrogen via electrolysis (OWE) was published. In this scheme, almost one billion euros is made available for the development of electrolysers that convert sustainable electricity into hydrogen. Energie-Nederland is happy with the arrangement. This incentive is necessary to stimulate the hydrogen chain. Converting electricity into hydrogen is also important for the further rollout of offshore wind projects.

The Netherlands has to get to work
Energie-Nederland is still concerned about the development of demand for renewable hydrogen. The Netherlands must work hard to implement European guidelines that ensure the transition from fossil to renewable hydrogen. It must also be ensured that the infrastructure is available on time.
