Three Priorities for Additional CO2 Reduction Following the Climate and Energy Outlook (KEV) 2024.

The Climate and Energy Outlook (KEV) 2024 shows that we need to reduce an additional 16 to 24 megatons of CO2 emissions to meet the climate goals for 2030. It also reveals that the target of 39% renewable energy is still not in sight.

  1. Stimulate the demand for sustainable electricity.
  1. Stimulate the demand for sustainable molecules.
  1. Ensure the right physical and legal conditions for sustainability.

This represents an important step towards the objectives of the KEV 2024. Additionally, Energy Netherlands makes further proposals for additional CO2 savings that cannot yet be precisely quantified.
